Immunology
We investigate immune regulation and disease mechanisms using quantitative and single-cell approaches.
The Mahajan Lab is based in the Division of Engineering in Medicine and the Center for Engineered Therapeutics at BWH. We develop engineered therapeutics and diagnostics for immune-mediated diseases by integrating nanoparticle platforms, medicinal chemistry, computational modeling, and high-dimensional experimental approaches. Our research spans multiple scales from rational molecular design to in vivo model systems with a focus on immune regulation, autoimmune diseases, and the development of precision nanomedicines and ultra-sensitive diagnostics.
We investigate immune regulation and disease mechanisms using quantitative and single-cell approaches.
We engineer targeted biologics, nanoparticles, and conjugates for modulating immune responses.
We develop ultra-sensitive diagnostics to enable early detection, precise monitoring, and better clinical outcomes.
